This was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the TESDA staff and personnel from the Regional, Provincial and Technology Institutions in carrying out their responsibilities of ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the region. We also wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our industry partners who have been with us throughout the years.

A briefing and workshop on TESDA OPES was held in the morning of December 22, 2008 to thresh out problems encountered in the preparations of the new OPES. This was attended by all TESDA regional and provincial personnel, school administrator, administrative officer, and accountant and instructions supervisors among others. Having been in the Central Office for the national Directorate, OIC Regional Director Felisa A. Carag echoed information on the latest developments of TESDA’s programs and projects.
The Kasibu National Agricultural School (KNAS) cooperated fully enthusiastically with the goal of Secretary Boboy Syjuco in bringing a higher awareness of the citizenry of TESDA programs thru “Recorrida”. KNAS personnel thru the able leadership of the Officer-in-charge, Ms Carmen B. Balinag fanned out to the thirty (30) barangays of Kasibu from nearest to the remotest, notwithstanding the rainy seasons during September to December and so with the bad road conditions that usually go with it.
With the presence of the different tools and equipment for the operation of the distinctive Area of Competence (DAC) of the school which crop production, the school is now ready to conduct different trainings related to rice production.
TESDA RO2 recently participated in the various activities of the DOLE in the line with its anniversary.
Last November 28, 2008, TESDA RO2’s athletic staff joined the DOLE RCC member in the sports competition which was held at Santiago City. The results of the game were as follows; 1.)Table tennis Male, champion; 2.) Table tennis female champion; 3.) Darts, first place; and 4.) Bowling, second place.
Ilagan, Isabela. TESDA Regional Director Felisa A. Carag and Provicial Director Nestor C. Ave of TESDA-Isabela joined the delegation of Hon. Ma. Gracia Cielop M. Padaca, Provincial Governol of Isabela and Hon. Edwin C. uy, Congressman, 2nd District of Isabela and Hon. Fernando Cumigad, Mayor of Gamu, Isabela together with the other delegates from the Local Government Units of Isabela to Canada.
OIC Regional Director, Felisa A. Carag and Provincial Director Belinda A. Labutong of TESDA Cagayan together with the staff and personnel of TESDA 02 warmly welcomed the Ambassador and company. The visiting team had a tour of the different trade areas of the Regional Training Center.
